Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AlloyX MFG, LLC (“AlloyX MFG,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit alloyxmfg.com (the “Site”), create an account, or place an order. By using the Site you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider — never your password with them.
- Order information. When you order we collect your billing and shipping address, phone number (for carrier contact), and details of what you purchased.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers; we receive only a payment confirmation, the card brand, and last four digits.
- Content you upload. Design files, drawings, artwork, and text you submit for quotes, custom manufacturing, or the sign designer.
- Communications. Messages you send us through the Site or by email, including claim documentation such as photos.
- Usage information. Like most websites we automatically receive technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and interactions with the Site — some of it collected through the analytics service described in section 4.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Site: quotes, checkout, order fulfillment, manufacturing, shipping, and delivery updates.
- To send transactional email — order confirmations, shipping and tracking notices, and replies to your inquiries. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and keep required accounting and tax records.
- To operate AI-assisted design features: content you submit to those features may be processed by the AI service providers listed below to generate your design.
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share information only with service providers who need it to run the Site and fulfill your orders:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, file storage, account authentication, and email delivery. All Site data lives in AWS data centers in the United States.
- Stripe — payment processing and sales tax calculation.
- Shippo and shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, and similar) — your name, address, and phone number, to rate, purchase, and track shipments.
- Intuit QuickBooks — our accounting system, which receives order and refund records (name, email, amounts) for bookkeeping and tax filing.
- Microsoft Clarity — website analytics, described in section 4.
- Anthropic and OpenAI — AI processing for the design-generation features, limited to the content you submit to those features.
- Google and Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business (in which case this Policy continues to apply).
4. Cookies and analytics
- Essential cookies. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to operate checkout. These are required for the Site to function.
- Analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and session replays of interactions with the Site. Clarity may use cookies and collects usage data on our behalf; form inputs of a sensitive nature are masked by the tool. For details, see Microsoft’s privacy statement. You can limit analytics with browser tracking-prevention features or extensions.
- Advertising & measurement. We use the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to measure how visitors use the Site and which of our ads lead to quotes and orders. Google may set cookies and receive limited usage data (pages visited, conversion events) for this purpose; see Google’s Privacy Policy and their Ads Settings page to manage personalization, or use browser tracking-prevention features.
5. Data retention
- Order records are kept as long as required for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes.
- Uploaded design files are kept while your account is active or while needed to support your orders (including remakes and claims).
- Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account, after which we remove it except for records we must retain by law.
6. Security
All traffic to the Site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Credentials are handled by our authentication provider, secrets are stored encrypted, and access to customer data is limited to what is needed to operate the business. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the data we hold.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your account information from your account page, and view your order history at any time.
- You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by emailing info@alloyxmfg.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and honor requests except where retention is required by law.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we honor valid requests regardless of your state.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and material changes will be noted on the Site.
